Renault Pulse Introduced in India- Pulse the new car from Renault in India.

The French automobilemanufacturer, Renault has  announced therate of the neew model Pulse at the Delhi Auto Expo 2012. The base model a pricetag of Rs. 5.77 Lacs, ex-showroom Delhi.Pulse is the third model launched by the company in the Indian automobilemarket. Renault Pulse was unveiled for the first time in India inOctober 2011.  

Renault Pulse wasdesigned in a Mumbai design studio. The model is equipped with the Renault K9Kdiesel engine assisted by a 5-speed transmission which can  delivers peak power of 61 hp and maximumtorque of 160 Nm. Renault Pulse is the first hatchback model  from the company. 

The new Renault Pulseclaims to be top class in terms of performance as well as fuel efficiency.According to the reports by ARAI, the model has fuel efficiency of 23.08 kmpl.The model will be available in the Indian automobile market in two  versions,  the RxZthe top end version cost around Rs. 6.25Lack  (Ex Show Room Delhi), with featuresautomatic climate control, lock unlock sensing, folding outside rear viewmirrors, Dual airbags, illuminated engine start stop button.  The other version RXL  will have all power windows, follow me headlamps, rear wiper , washer integrated audio system and driver airbag.

Renault is planning tolaunch 5 additional vehicles in 2012.  In the Auto expo in NewDelhi Shri. Renault Pulse colours � Solid Black, ChampagneGold, Metallic Red, Metallic Grey, Pearl White and Metallic Silver. This Pulsewill be competing against Hyundai i20,Maruti Suzuki Swift,Nissan Micra and Ford Figo.
